Who is this course for?

This course is for mental health professionals who aspire to open their own solo mental health private practice AND those already operating their own practice but who are seeking guidance on structure, compliance, and sustainability.

What if I already started a private practice?

Perfect! This course can help you fill in any gaps and improve your practice’s legal, financial, and operational foundations.

Is the course self-paced?

Yes! The course is on-demand, allowing you to learn at your own pace, on your own schedule.

How is the course delivered and what is the time commitment?

This an online e-course that you can access 24/7 so you can fit it into your busy schedule. The course is composed of twelve (12) modules which all become available to you upon enrollment. You are encouraged to begin right away as there is a lot of information to learn and consider. Starting sooner rather than later will help you have enough time to complete the course while minimizing information overload, allowing time for you to process the content you're receiving, and/or completing any necessary research and steps before moving on to the next lesson.

How long will I have access to the course and its content?

You have 24/7 access to this course. You will have access to this course and any updates to it "forever" -- for as long as the course is available and offered.*

Will I receive CE credits for this course?

Currently, this course does not offer CE credits. However, it is packed with practical, real-world knowledge designed to help you launch and run a compliant practice.

Will documents, forms, or templates be provided in the course?

Each provider's practice laws, rules, and circumstances will be unique; and, therefore, each provider's documents, forms, and templates should reflect their specific needs. Documents or templates will not be provided because I don’t want course completers to fall into the habit of simply using copy/paste material with “insert name here” that are not actually reflective of their specific needs.

What is 100% covered in the course, however, is information about what should be included in practice documents and forms, as well as some guidance for creating your very own. Having a hands-on approach to developing your practice policies, procedures, documents, forms, etc. will ensure that they are unique, sound like you, and are crafted to suit you and your practice.

You will get sample language for commonly used emails, voicemails, first phone calls, and other similar sample tools.

How do I sign up and access the course?

It's easy! Click the sign up link. Those on the early email list will be the first to know when the course launches and is open for enrollment. After enrolling, you'll gain instant access to the course right through your account!
