Starting a solo private practice can be overwhelming and confusing. All the considerations can cloud our headspace and planning the different elements that need to be in place, from business licenses and taxes, can be daunting. This course will be your step-by-step guide for planning and launching your solo private practice.
Whether your practice offers in-person or telehealth services, do you know what to do when your practice and/or clients are in the path of severe weather, such as a hurricane or tropical storm? Prepare your practice in advance! This program will help you (1) understand why it is important to understand and plan for severe weather events; (2) recognize legal, ethical, and clinical considerations with regard to severe weather; (3) review practical considerations for managing your practice before, during, and after severe weather; and (4) examine considerations for and be presented with tools to help you develop severe weather policies and procedures for your practice.
