Supervisee Success: Mackenzie went from Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern to a fully independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Clinical Director of a Group Practice

This amazing person is Mackenzie Moore Torres. I had the privilege of serving as her qualified clinical supervisor for the most of her two years of clinical work toward her independent licensure in Florida. In December, she obtained her Licensed Mental Health Counselor credential in Florida!

Mackenzie has grown so much personally and professionally throughout the supervision process as she really went "all in" during her supervision. She came in with great knowledge, skills, and clinical intuition. She continued to expand her knowledge, through additional trainings and some epic clinical experience, to develop into a fantastic therapist!

Mackenzie holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida and is certified in EMDR and the Safe and Sound Protocol. She is a skilled therapist who specializes in trauma and works with adults to address a wide variety of concerns and challenges along the way. She sees clients in-office and via telehealth (online counseling) in Florida. As an added "cherry on top," Mackenzie was recently offered a Clinical Director role at the practice she works in, and it's well deserved!
