Supervisee Success: Lauren went from Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern to a fully independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor

This wonderful person is Lauren Mullins. I have had the privilege of serving as her qualified clinical supervisor for over two years as she worked toward independent licensure in Florida. Earlier this week, she obtained her Licensed Mental Health Counselor credential in Florida!  

I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to get to know and supervise Lauren. She began her registered internship with great education, knowledge, and experience, as well as amazing clinical intuition that’s hard to teach. She’s continued her growth into an even more fantastic clinician. I am so proud to call Lauren a colleague and excited to be able to refer to her with confidence!

Lauren holds a Master of Arts degree in Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling as well as a Graduate Certificate in Marriage & Family Therapy from the University of South Florida. Lauren is a skilled therapist who works with all clients from children to adults; she works with couples, too! Lauren helps to empower clients to gain the skills necessary to navigate life’s ups and downs and learn how they can become the best versions of themselves. She sees clients in-office and via telehealth (online counseling) in Florida.
